Anjuman I Islam's 12th January:-Inter school Drawing Competition.
BMC had organized a drawing competition at Rani Baug and the topic was 1) Clean Mumbai,Green Mumbai 2)Mumbai in my Dream 3)Mumbai in 2020. 25 students had participated in this competition and the results are yet to be declared.
18th January-:Tiger Fest
Tiger Fest was held at Mahim Nature Park, various competitions were held from morning till the afternoon. Competitions like Environmental Project, Face painting, Poster Making, Elocution and Street Play. 53 students participated in various competitions. Our school secured 1st Prize in the ‘Face Painting Comeptition’ amongst many schools in Mumbai. Bhatti Tehsin secured the 1st Prize for the same. It was a wonderful experience for all the students !!
22nd January:-Inter School Drawing Competition
Lodha Foundation had organized a Drawing competition based on the topic ‘Republic Day’.All the students from Std V-VIII participated in this competition. We had two winners from our school In Group II Khan Samiya Kafeel secured the 1st place and in Group III Tungekar Taiba Tahir too. secured the First Place.
24th January-:Group Display
A group of students along with Ms.Afreen and Ms.Sybal had presented a group display In honor of our Institution ‘ Anjuman-I-Islam’ which completed 140 years !!. It was a very grand celebration. It was based on patriotism and was appreciated by everyone for its well co-ordinated and beautiful formations.
25th January:-Road Safety Fortnight 2014.
Seven students from our school had participated in the Road Safety Fortnight 2014’Painting Competition at Co-operage Traffic children Park, Colaba. ‘Road Safety’ was the theme of Painting.
26th January-: Republic Day
Republic Day was celebrated in the school with a short program based on patriotism. We had Inter Anjuman Band and R.S.P Competitions at Anjuman-I-Islam C.S.T. 30 students from R.S.P and 25 students fromn Band participated in this competition.
28th January:-Science Olympiad
International Science Olympiad examination was held on 9th December in the School. 93 students participated in this examination and out of these 4 students are qualified for the 2nd level which will be held on 18th February’2014.All 93 students passed in this examination.
Expert Lectures for Std X
28nd January:- Urdu Expert Lecture was taken by Miss Nuzhat. She taught the students how to solve board question papers and also guided the students to score well in the examinations.
21st JanuarY:- Hindi Expert Lecture was conducted by Mr.Sheshnarayan Pandey. He gave a detailed study about how to solve board question papers and how to score well.
20th and 23rd January:- Math expert lecture was conducted by Mr. Suresh Rajan and Mr.Naresh Singh wherein he gave some important examination tips and tricks to solve the board question papers. He also discussed about the Writing Pattern and Time Management.
23rd January:- Science expert lecture was taken by Mr. Raj Gawde and Mr.Pritesh Tiwari who gave the students some very useful and handy study tips in the science subject to prepare and revise for science paper. The topic ‘Chemical Reactions’ was discussed in detail and HOTS questions and concepts were also discussed.
