Anjuman I Islam's 1st April:-Orientation of Std X :-
Our Head Mistress Miss. Fauzia Ansari gave guidance to our students of Std X to perform well in the Board Examinations. She also explained to them the importance of studies; different learning styles and effective study technique as well as different ways in which the students can perform well in their examinations.
4th April:- Scottish Symphony Orchestra by the British Council :-
BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and British Council in partnership with Seher presented School Education Concerts by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra at NCPA Theatre, Nariman Point on Tuesday 1 April, 2014.
The BBC Symphony Orchestra performed two special concerts for school children. The concerts were conducted by well known music education expert Paul Rissmann.
Famous violinist Nicola Benedetti and conductor James MacMillan and students from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland also joined Rissman in these concerts.
BBC has a history of working with schools and students and this was the first time that they had worked in India. This was an incredible opportunity for students to watch a performance by the prestigious BBC and one of the finest orchestras from Scotland.They were accompanied by two teachers. The Musicians from the different sections of the Orchestra spoke about each instrument, demonstrated their abilities and performed a few pieces of Music for the audience.
7th April:- Programme based on World Health day :-
There was a programme from United Nation Organisation[UNO]at Saifee Hospital,Charni Road For the students and teachers. Ms.Fehmin and Ms.Saba attended the programme along with 25 students. It gave a brief description about the Vector Borne diseases, its symptoms and diagnosis.
16th April:-Career Guidance workshop for the students of Std X :-
Mrs.Sameera and Mrs.Sumaiya attended the workshop at Hajj House along with Std X students. The Resourse Person Mr.Mubarak Kapdi guided the students in taking up their career more systematically and helped them in making a good decision. It was really fruitful and beneficial for the students.
