April
1st April :-
A few teachers attended a workshop on Career Guidance and Counselling by Dr. Matcheswala at Kesar Baug. Even the students and parents had participated in this program.The main idea about this event was to give a brief idea to students in selecting their career and certain tips were given to parents and teachers in handling their child’s future.
2nd April :-
ORIENTATION FOR STD X STUDENTS
Our Head Mistress Miss. Fauzia Ansari gave guided our Std X students to perform well in the Board Examinations. She also explained to them the importance of studies, different learning styles and effective study technique as well as different ways in which the students can take up their studies.
3rd April - 13th April :-
Mr. Larner and Mrs. Kaur from our UK Partner School North Leamington School visited our school for G.C.P. During their stay they really had a very good experience in knowing our school. Our teachers had organized a short program for them followed by interaction with the staff and the students. They shared their views and experiences with our teachers. They even observed few of our teachers’ lessons which they highly appreciated. Our guest also had Mumbai Darshan. They visited all religious places and the famous places of our Mumbai city. Indeed this was a very different experience for our teachers as well as for them.
10th April :-
Art Mela
Art Mela was organized for our guest Mr. Larner and Mrs. Kaur. All the Art and Work Experience article done by our students throughout the year was displayed in the auditorium. Our guest and our Head Mistress really appreciated our students’ work.
12th April :-
Mrs.Sumaiya Khan and Mrs. Mubashira Kondkar attended a workshop at Hajj House based on study skills and career guidance by Mr. Mubarak Kapdi along with our Std X students. Our students really benefitted from this program.
15th April :-
Geography Olympiad National Level Examination was held at Kota (Rajasthan).Keriwala Masirah had appeared for the exam and acquired 16 out of 30 marks. She received a participation certificate and also a designed certificate clock.
17th April :-
Common Examination Syllabus Planning
Syllabus Planning meeting was organized in our school auditorium for all the subjects’ Heads of all our Anjuman-I-Islam’s group of schools. Mrs.Najma Kazi gave a brief idea about how to plan the syllabus for the academic year 2012-2013.
18th April :-
Dr.Matcheswala Counselling Centre conducted a session in our school auditorium for teachers based on ‘Psychological Illness’ in students. They explained our teachers about the L.D cases in schools and also helped our teachers in handling such types of students.
19th April:-
Aptitude test
Aptitude test was conducted by Dr.Matcheswala counselling centre for students of Std X to help them decide their future career.
