January 2015

12th January:-Spell Linc Competition.

This Competition was held for Std VII-VIII wherein 100 students had participated. It was held to enhance the vocabulary and the pronunciation of the students.

14th January:-Handwriting Competition.

Handwriting Competition was organized by ‘Fun to Learn’ in the school. The main aim of the competition was to improve the handwriting of the students and to develop their writing skills.

17th January:-Workshop on Puppet Making.

Puppet Making Workshop was organized by our management Anjuman-I-Islam to make the teaching learning process more effective and interesting. Teachers were taught to make different types of puppets. Ms Tabassum and Ms Depika attended the workshop from our school. The main aim of the workshop was to make the teaching learning process more joyful and effective.

16th January:-Hindi and Marathi Song Competition.

On 16th January inter house Hindi and Marathi folk song competition was held in our school. Students from Std V-VII had participated in the Poetry Recitation Competition and students from Std VIII-X in the Marathi Folk Song Competition. The programme was very interesting and it developed a love for Marathi and Hindi Language amongst the students.

20th January:-Last Minute Revision.

Last minute Revision Lecture for Std X students was organized by our management Anjuman-I-Islam at Haj House . The Resource person Mr.Mubarak Kapdi guided the students on ways to cope up with the stress during examination and gave tips on smart study. The students found the Workshop extremely beneficial and useful.

22nd January:-Drawing Competition.

Inter School Drawing Competition was held in our school by Parivahan Aayut karyalay for the students from Std V-VIII. The topic was ‘Safety is not just a Slogan, it’s a Way of Life’. Through this competition students gained an understanding of the importance of Road Safety and Zebra Crossing.

26th January:-Republic Day.

Republic day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school. At our Head Office too, the Republic Day was celebrated on a large scale like every year. Inter Anjuman Band and R.S.P Competition was held at Anjuman-I-Islam ,C.S.T. for all the schools of Anjuman-I-Islam. Our school had participated in both the categories and we secured  the2nd Prize in the R.S.P Parade and also we won the Best Costume for R.S.P.

30th January:-Seminar

Ms.Sana Sayed and Mrs. Amina Patni attended the seminar at Anjuman-I-Islam’s Peerbhoy College, Vashi  as a part of their Silver Jubilee Celebration. It was a National Seminar on Learners’ Autonomy conducted for the teachers, student teachers, professors and educators . Some of them presented their research papers on the topic ‘Learner Centered Education’. The delightful experience was also shared by the chief Guest A.K Danish, director of IGNOU from Delhi.

EXPERT LECTURES for Std X Students.

19TH January:-English Lecture.

English Expert Lecture was conducted in our school for our Std X students by Ms.Ishika to solve the problems while writing the board examinations. The expert also gave various instructions pertaining to the subject and how to complete the paper on time.

19th January:-Science Lecture.

It was conducted by Mr.Suresh Kadam. He gave the formulae, diagrams and some useful tips from the text book. He also guided the students on how to solve the board question papers and effective time management. It was really very useful to the students as they acquired knowledge and confidence through this lecture.

21st January:-Algebra Lecture.

Ms.Shabnam had conducted the Algebra Expert Lecture for our students. She discussed with them the paper pattern at length and also gave practice papers to solve.

22nd January:-Geometry Lecture.

It was conducted by Mr.Mayur Panchar. He guided the students appropriately for the construction of the in circle as it becomes difficult for the students to draw .He also discussed  paper patterns ,important theorems, reasons to be specified for the steps and units also.

22nd January:-Geography Lecture

It was conducted by Ms.Rinkle. She solved the difficulties of the students pertaining to the subject, gave many tips for easy revision and how to solve the graph and map work. It was indeed a very lively lecture.

28th January:Urdu Lecture.

It was conducted by Ms. Nuzat Khan. She discussed with the students how to solve the board papers and  also explained grammar and composition and some useful tips to score well in the paper.
