Anjuman I Islam's 16th June:- S.F.A Refresher Course.
S.F.A Refresher course was organized by Lions’ Quest for all the S.F.A teachers from all over Anjuman. From our school, Mrs.Parveen Shaikh, Mrs.Shazia Sayed, Mrs. Midat Shaikh and Ms.Sana Syed attended the programme. The resource person, Mrs.Sunita Malpani guided the teachers about the new changes for the academic year 2015-16.The training programme encouraged the teachers to discover, connect, practise and apply their knowledge and also taught them ways to connect with the students.
26th June:-Qirat Competition.
Qirat competition was held in the school Auditorium for the students from Std VI to X. The Competition was really a tough one and all the students recited the verses very well.
26th June:-Workshop on Teacher’s Planning based on Environment Education:
The workshop was organized by ‘Kids For Tigers’ and sponsored by Aircel and Sanctuary magazine. It started with a welcoming speech by Dr.Pranav who is a lecturer at Bhavan’s College followed by a PowerPoint presentation depicting various natural vegetation and animals all over India. The guest of honour was Mr.Issac Kehmikar, Deputy Chairman of Mumbai. Finally there was a group discussion among the teachers to plan various activities throughout the year to save environment like plantation work, paper recycling, joy of giving week, etc.
27th June:-Annual General Body Meeting.
Annual General Body Meeting was held on 27th June, Saturday in the school auditorium for all the parents from Std V to X .Our Head Mistress, Miss Fauzia Ansari guided and briefed the parents about the school rules and regulations. She also briefly read and explained the criteria for appointing the P.T.A member of each standard followed by the PowerPoint presentation of our School Annual Report.
