Anjuman I Islam's 1st February:- Std X Farewell
A big day like the farewell which is one of the most memorable day in a student’s life was celebrated in the school Auditorium. Students of std IX had arranged the programme. There were Dance,Songs and drama presented by the students of Std IX. Our Head Mistress, Ms.Fauzia Ansari gave a short speech with a beautiful message of achieving their goals on their big day.
13th February:-
The Times of India’s NIE Edition for student launched a book release of ‘The Stomberinger’ at Cross Words Kemps Corner. Three of our students i.e. Shaikh Iffat Naaz, Shaikh Sakina,Khan Ayesha got to meet the Aurthor Archita Mishra at the launch of the book and interacted with the students and discussed about her book.
14th February:-
Jamiatul Muslemeen Mahim,Mumbai ,a secular Education Society and Women Welfare Trust had held their 58th Annual Function at Saboo Siddique Institute, Nagpada, Mumbai where in one of our teachers Mrs. Tasneem Shaikh was awarded the Best Teacher Award,Mrs. Nilofer Patel received the Best Accountant Award and Mrs.Jahara Shaikh was awarded the Best Peon Award.
22nd February:-Anjuman Day
Anjuman Day was celebrated in our school. The Assembly was conducted by Mrs. Midat Shaikh along with her class. The Assembly consisted of Dua followed by translation then a brief description was given to students about ‘Anjuman-I-Islam’ and its importance. Tarana-e- Anjuman was also played in the assembly and it concluded with the National Anthem.
23rd February:-NIE Meet
Times NIE set the stage for some highly talented individuals and academicians like singer Armaan Malik, founder of super 30 programme Anand Kumar,actor Govinda,Vice chancellor of University of Mumbai.Dr. Sanjay Gupta,Vice chancellor of Bennet University Mr. Yaj Medury and Associate General Manager Bennet University Mr.Adil Jahangir were present at hotel Holiday Inn. Our teacher Mrs. Tasneem Shaikh attended this seminar where in they discussed the role of education with a difference in creating learning environments that are intuitive, contextualized and transcend socio economic constraints.
