7- 8 TH November:-Core Skills Training By British Council.

Four of our teachers Ms.Midat, Ms.Nazneen, Ms.Shazia & Ms.Tasneem attended

the two days training on Core Skills at Pragnya Bodhini High School with the

focus being on ‘Creativity and Imagination’. The training was very helpful for the

teachers as it gave them an insight about how creativity can be developed among

the students through Teaching Learning Process.

19 th November:-Children’s Day Celebration.

It was celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm .Each and every teacher had

performed some or the other thing in our school for the student’s for eg. speech,

song and dance .It was really a memorable day for the teachers as well as the

students.

21 st November:-Tab Distribution by the Mayor of our State.

To support the Digital India and Digital school initiative, The Municipal

Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCMG) and the  Shiv Sena, distributed 200 free

tablets to class VIII students, in a function held on Wednesday 22 nd November

2016 at Anjuman I Islam’s Saif Tayabji Girls’ High School and Junior College

and Anjuman I Islam’s Begum Sharifa Kalsekar Girls’ English High School ,

Bellasis Road, Mumbai Central in a well-intentioned move to distribute tablets to

schools so as to lighten the burden of schoolbags

The tablets are meant to make learning easy and ensure that the students don’t

carry heavy bags to school. The devices are manufactured by a Mumbai-based e-

learning firm and they’re meant to offer text, audio visual content and animation to

make the learning process easier and interesting.

Mr. Khalid Mamoo was appointed as the main organizer and event coordinator

under the leadership and guidance of some dynamic personalities that included

Mr.Anil Desai, Mr. Arwind Sawant, Mr Sohel Khandwani and Mr.Pandurang

Sakpal. The Hon’ble Mayor of Mumbai, Mrs Snehal Ambekar graced the occasion

with her presence as the Chief Guest of the function. President of Anjuman I Islam,

Dr Zahir I. Kazi and Shiv Sena Leader, Haji Arfath Shaikh were also present for

this event.

Both the Urdu and English medium students were delighted after receiving the

tabs. One of the students shared her experience and said, “I am very happy with

this tab. In future, I would make the right use of the tab. If I have some doubts

regarding my studies I can easily clarify my doubt.’’

The Hon’ble Mayor felicitated retired Urdu Medium Vice Principal and Teachers

and 3 senior English Medium teachers

Mrs. Shermeen Syed, Head Teacher of Anjuman-I- Islam’s Begum Shraifa

Kalsekar Girls’ Primary School was also felicitated at the hands of the

Mayor.

25 th November:-Anti Terrorism Day.

It was celebrated at Anjuman-I- Islam C.S.T for all the groups of Anjuman schools

along with the students. Chief Guest was the famous Choreographer Remo

D’souza and retired Chief ATS Officer, S.S.Virk. They encouraged our children

with their valuable speech and motivated them for a better future.
