17th June : Environment Day
Environment Day was celebrated where the students organized certain activities and recited poems on environment. A short skit was also done by the students. The headmistress planted a sapling on this day to highlight the importance of environment in one’s life. This was also a shared activity along with our partner school as a part of the GCP project.
21st June : Orientation for Std X
Orientation program was organized for the std X batch .( 2011-12 ). Experienced teachers and experts ( Mrs Donna and Mrs Adrina from St. Joseph’s, Bandra ) were called to give guidelines to the students and teachers.
24th June- Qirat competition
Qirat competition was held wherein the students ( V to X ) actively participated. It encouraged the students to learn and recite verses from the Holy Quran.
27th June – Investiture Ceremony:-
The ceremony was held in the school auditorium. Students from std VIII to X were elected as house captains, Head girl and Asst. Head girl . The elected members took an oath of being responsible and just towards all and help to keep up the discipline and tone of the school.
