14th Nov :-
Children’s day was celebrated with great joy and spirit by the teachers & the students. The programme was ogranised by the teachers . The programme started with a dua followed by a speech, poem, Hindi & Marathi songs. There was also a short ppt shown by Ms. Sumaiya and our H.M on “Magic of Life”.
6th Nov:-
International Lion’s Quest president Mr Wing-Kun- Tam visited Anjuman – I – Islam’s Group of Schools. A short program was held for him.The S.F.A students & teachers had attended the programme at Karimi Library.Our student Ansari Hamda was given the opportunity to express students’ impressions about the programme that hes been successfully implemented in our schools for a cou[le of years.
15th Nov:- Nature Club ( Movie- Wall E )
All the Nature Club members were selected for this nature drive. They were taken to PVR cinema at Lower Parel along with two teachers Ms. Saba & Ms. Nazneen. The Chief guest was Mr. Anmol Gupte. A small street play was shown regarding the awareness of environmental hazards in the city followed by other programs.
16th Nov:- Urdu Workshop
The workshop was conducted by Dr. Shafi Shaikh .The Programme was based on improvement of Urdu language, grammar & to create interest among the students.
18th Nov:-
School Picnic was organised for V- X along with the teachers to Shangrila Resort. It was a great day for the students. They all enjoyed a lot leaving their studies at a bay for a day.
20th Nov :- NTS Examamination.
National Talent Search Examination was conducted by the Government for the students of StdVIII . Twenty- three students participated in the examination. There were 2 papers A) Gereral Mental Ability Test
B) Scholastic Aptitute Test.
22nd Nov :- Workshop on Journalism
A workshop was conducted by British Council on BBC School report news.
Two students along with one of the teachers had attended the programme . The workshop helped the students in making their own news or report.This programme will run for a year along with our partner school in U.K. wherein our students will be able to create reports and also upload the same on the school’s website and also on BBC.
23rd Nov :- Inter-Anjuman G.K Quiz Competition
Inter-Anjuman had organised a G.K quiz competition of two groups
1) Jr.Group
2) Sr. Group at C.S.T and Kurla Anjuman respectively. The Jr.Group had a written paper whereas the Sr.Group had an open session. The Sr.group won the first prize.
25th Nov :-
Essay Writing Competition ( for teachers)
Essay Writing Competition was held for the teachers at Ward Level.The topic was “How can I create awareness and conserve energy ”. All the teachers had written the essay and participated in this competition.
25th Nov:-
An Elocution competition was held at Ward Level wherein one of our teacher Ms. Sumaiya Peerzada was invited as a Judge to judge the students.
26th Nov:- Workshop on L.D
A workshop was conducted for all the English medium teachers on learning disability by Ms.Mussarat Khan. The workshop highlighted the problems which the child goes through and guidance was given to teachers to handle such kind of students.
26th Nov:-
‘Constitution Day’ was celebrated in the school with a wonderful assembly by Ms.Saba Khan.She highlighted the importance of our constitution.
28th Nov:-
Quiz Competition was held at A.I.I’s Saif Taybji wherein three of our students had participated in the competition. It was based on science subject. The results are still to be declared.
29th Nov:-
Ms Nazneen had attended a science teachers workshop on 29th Dec at Parel.The workshop gave ideas to the teachers about various kinds of teaching aid that we prepare in our school.
30 Nov:-
Urdu workshop was organised by Anjuman.The main aim was to improve Urdu language and solve the difficulties which the teachers face while teaching. The workshop was taken by Dr. Shafi Shaikh.
